Write-on-Site

The Humanities Research Center and the College of Humanities and Sciences invite you to join us for writing sessions in the Valentine House, Room 201, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., every Friday. Regular writing sessions offers accountability and support, while fostering our shared interests in humanities scholarship. Come for the entire morning or commit just 30 minutes of focused writing, find a community of scholars working on exciting projects, and (re)connect with others. Coffee and snacks are provided!

Faculty, lecturers, postdocs, and graduate students from all disciplines who are working on academic writing projects (whether fellowship or grant applications, articles/essays, book projects, edited volumes, research reports, fiction or nonfiction) are welcome to attend!

Where: Valentine House Room 201, 920 W Franklin St, Richmond, VA 23284.
