Gail has worked at VCU since 1992, beginning in the Department of Pharmacology and moving over to the College of Humanities & Sciences in 1998. Since then she has worked in the Departments of Biology and Psychology as well as in the Office of Dean. She joined the Humanities Research Center as the Center’s Coordinator in the Fall of 2014 when the Center was officially launched.
During her time at VCU, Gail has completed the Grace E. Harris Leadership Development Program and the College Business Management Institute Program at the University of Kentucky. She is excited to be a part of the Humanities Research Center and its efforts to promote the humanities at VCU as well as in the Richmond community.
Gail hails from the beautiful mountains of Southwest Virginia and is the proud mother of a VCU undergraduate student. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the guitar and attending music festivals with her husband, Tod and their diva Pomeranian, Muffin.
